Founder and Principal
​Matt has more than 25 years’ experience working at the intersection of fundraising, philanthropy and organisational strategy. He has advised charities, universities, INGOs, boards and major donors across the UK and internationally, helping them understand donors, assess opportunities, manage risk and improve the impact of their fundraising and giving.

His expertise spans fundraising strategy, philanthropy advisory, major gifts, prospect research, due diligence, global giving trends and board development. He is known for combining rigorous research with clear, honest judgement — providing clients with the insight they need to make decisions that are grounded, confident and effective.

Matt has contributed to sector-wide publications, including co-authoring the chapter on Russian philanthropy in Wiley’s award-winning Global Fundraising. He brings a measured, thoughtful approach and a deep commitment to improving how organisations and donors understand and practise philanthropy.
BECKY IDE
Operations & Client Delivery Manager
Becky brings a background in high-pressure production environments where timing, organisation and attention to detail are critical. Her experience in managing complex schedules, coordinating teams and ensuring seamless delivery translates directly into the operational heartbeat of Giving Insight.
She oversees project workflows, client communication, scheduling and quality control across all assignments, ensuring everything runs smoothly from first contact to final delivery. Becky also supports the design and delivery of training sessions, drawing on her experience guiding teams through fast-paced production processes.
Known for her calm, organised approach and her ability to manage multiple moving parts with precision, Becky ensures that clients experience a consultancy that is not only insightful, but reliable, structured and easy to work with.
